Some pics of my tanks and set up

Here are some pics of my fish room as I set it up.

My skimmer, its a 72" Lifereef

Here's my sump, a 100 gallon rubbermaid stock tank. I removed the factory bulkhead, and replaced it with a 1 1/2 typical aquarium bulkhead. Plus I added 2 more bulkheads for a total of 3. Two are being used at the moment and the third is for future expansion.

A picture of the room looking towards the sump.

A picture looking towards the 100g lagoon tank and suspended 30g clown/anemone tank.

Here's a pic of one of the horizontal overflows I made, these help to collect a larger area of the surface so stuff doesnt build up there. The sump has been partitioned so that all the overflow water goes into the compartment where the skimmer pump intake is located.

Re: Some pics of my tanks and set up

Here's a picture of the tanks wet. You can also see a small tank I originally set up to house a mangrove. This tank has since been removed cause the mangrove grew too tall and is now in my lagoon tank.

Here's a pic of the other side of the room, shelves to keep stuff on and a bench I built for my refugium and my QT tank. Plus my water storage barrel.

The clown anemone tank.

The refugium

The lagoon tank

Re: Some pics of my tanks and set up

Today would probably be a bad day. I'll be in and out all day. Probably more out. I gotta go see my Mom.

Re: Some pics of my tanks and set up

My paint scheme came first, over a year ago. It also fades from dark blue at the floor to a very light blue cei.ling

Re: Some pics of my tanks and set up

At the moment i dont have a "Display". This is all support for my future display. I'm getting the seagrass tank established as a means of nutrient reduction. As the seagrass progress across the sand bed I intend to remove LR and corals until just a couple pieces remain with a few seagrass bed appropriate corals, fish, and inverts. My 90 gallon display has fallen into a bit of disrepair as I prepare to take it down for some renovation work on my house. Once the work is done I'm hoping for around a 300g inwall display upstairs.
