| Originally my system contained 2 tanks draining into a larger display, a 35g fuge and a 30g anemone/clown tank. Flow through the tanks had to beslow or microbubbles in the display was a problem. The slow flow through should be fine for a fuge though. The water will get a bit of dwell time for the macroalgae to utilize available nutrients. Just make sure to provide flow with powerheads within the fuge tank. A 10g probably wont have a huge impact on a 125g display, but every little bit helps.
