Time to get enough construction done so that I can finish my basement this winter. Some of the demo has allready been done in the days prior.

Here's the exterior of my backwall prior to Labor day weekend.

Bathroom wall removed, oooh hardwater stains.



Kitchen with with appliances removed and center load bearing wall exposed.



Looking down the basement and the old ceiling/floor to be replaced.

Its done for now. I'll put up the rest of the pics tonight. Next step is finish the basement and 180 inwall build thread.

Wow, that's some project you got going there Dave. It's going to be awesome when you finish.

Someday I'll have a new house, just getting there the long way. The wife will be happy for a while now.

Here's the last remaining section of the old floor, that tile? floor covering is awesome. There's at least three different layers of floor each layer was just constructed over the old, what a nightmare.



Looking down at my fish tanks with all of the old floor gone. I didnt move them after all and got pretty lucky. You can see the plywood covers I made to keep all the dust and debris out.



Looking down the basement at the tanks with the new floor done. No more low beams to whack your head on "Priceless"



The upstairs floor finished, it'll take a while to get everything back together, and finish the little things still left.
