I sure didnt. I bought 40 tickets, and out of all of them only hit the powerball once, I won 4 bucks back, so I only lost $36. I dont usually buy into the hype but this time I figured what the heck. How much did you spend on the powerball?

The winner is from West Virginia. My hubbie spent $5 and we have an on-going pool at work...

so figure the odds improvement buying 1 ticket or 100 tickets. Assuming 500,000 are sold (and that is probably low), then 1 in 500,000 or 0.000002 or 100 in 500,000 or 0.0002. In either case it is slim. One buck is about a good a chance as $100. One hundred time a small number is still a pretty small number.
