| Washington, DC National Aquarium Anyone been there ? I'm headed to DC in July and was wondering if anyone has been there!? Besides the usual things to see .... i wanted to hit a few reef related things ... like the National Aquarium and Pacific East Aquaculture Facility too on my way home... Anyone have any other ideas to do while there? maybe something not reef related lol just looking for some input ! thanks          |

| I saw the National Aquarium 20 years ago. I can only hope they've improved it. I was disappointed by how small it was. The National Zoo otoh was pretty cool to visit. The Smithsonian Museum was another good one too. Way too big to see on a single trip though.

| lol well the Zoo is 100% gonna happen because my Hunny said so lol and the Smithsonian is on my list along with the Spy museum and others ... but that doesn't sound promising for the Aquarium! lol |

| If you're driving then a visit to the Atlantis Aquarium out on LongIsland is said to be well worth a visit if it isnt too far out of the way.

| yeah... just remember that atlantis aquarium is in NEW YORK!!!! you might want to put on a different hat that day. red b's dont go over too well in that neck of the woods..... lol |
