Official Frogspawn Thread

post all pics of your frogspawn. closeups and farther away shots to see how big they actually get. any info on them would be best for newbies. how many heads does your frogspawn have in the pic roughly?

I'll start it off:
Neon Green Frogspawn. 2 Heads

Frogspawn with pink tips (most common)... 2 Heads starting to split slowly

Re: Official Frogspawn Thread

Here's the same 2 heads from 2nd picture... this is now under my T5 lights and after I took out my Aqua Blue Special and put in the Super Actinic bulb. MUCH better flourescent with that 1 single bulb switched out. This frogspawn has taken on a completely new look and I love it now.

Re: Official Frogspawn Thread

What's it look like under full lighting? It's always interesting to see how the colors look different under different types of lighting. The first pic was under the PC's? correct? Does it seem to inflate any more/better under the T5's?

Re: Official Frogspawn Thread

yes, the top 2 pics were with my PC lights.
Here's another quick picture of this frogspawn with my T5's and how it looks now when it's inflated. crazy the florescent color the base now has. do these change as they get older?

Re: Official Frogspawn Thread

While I'm going through some digital pics of mine, here's one more to add. Kind of a cool angle. seems like the frogspawn goes for miles

Re: Official Frogspawn Thread

I see that there are a variety of "mounting" locations for the Frogspawn in the pictures. What do people prefer or what is the the best practice? I have mine stuck in the sand but have been wondering if I should glue it to a piece of LR. What say you all?
