Arrow Reef Chili Study Vs Goo Vs Frozen Store bought

:ballchain:
Over the next 3-4 months I will perform a Study on Three LPS corals.

1) Being Blastos.

2) Being Enchinata Acan.

3) Being Candy Cane

What I will do:

Each colony will be dived in two separate section Group A, and Group B, All colonies will be under the same lighting (10 k ushio, 250 MH) All with the same flow, and all in the same tank structure.

Group A will be fed on Reef Chili alone.

Group B will be fed a mix of goo, and or frozen store bought foods.

I will document before pics of each group after the corals have all had 1 week in the same tank structure.

I will then Shot one picture per every two weeks to evaluate the size, and or color change.

This should be fun, but what the hell! It's summer time, and not much else to do in the hot humid depths of the bowels of my basement.

I am interested also. I used some of the Reef Chili for a bit, then stopped because I saw a huge upswing in algae. When I replaced the chili with cyclopeeze. the algae seemed to drop off in a matter of a week. I now want to start using Arctic Pods for some of the hungry corals.

I mix it all, goo, chilli, cyclopeeze, garlic, coral food, reef mix, flake, pellets, vitamins, you name it. I left out 10 other foods I add in. The whole tank feeds, corals, inverts, fish. No one goes hungry. I'm always picking up some frozen reef related treats for the tank. I spoil my tank, worth it for the view as I sit and enjoy.
