Anybody care to take a stab at it, I'm thinking Goniopora, but not 100% sure.

Hmm hadnt thought of Pagoda. Ever see a red one? I was under the impression they were greyish for the most part.

As I try to count polyp tentacles I seem to be getting 18 fairly consistently. Alveopora has 12, and Goniopora 24, so I'm discounting those two as possibilities. looking for some decent photos of Pagoda to count tentacles.

I dont think the coralites are raised enough to be cyphastrea. I think Denis hit it with Pagoda, but somehow I'd like o know for sure.

Thanks Denis, I'm still waivering a bit on the id. I've been through all the corals listed as Turbinaria ( aka Pagoda ) on this site which also shows clean skeleton and there isnt a clear match. So still up in the air. It just doesnt strike me as Pagoda due to the elongate coralites that Pagoda seem to have, but there was one which didnt seem to have elongate coralites.

I dont have a pic but will try and get one.
I dont think theres much hope for the toad Dont know what happened. The frags are struggling and Im gonna have to go fishing cause a couple got knocked off and been keeping an eye on them cause dont want any more pollution to the tank. Theres a baby on the rock that survived....go figure.

Thanks Jess. I'm not sure thats what it is. Polyps on mine are about 1 cm, and skeletal structure doesnt seem to match any Turbinaria ones that I'm able to find.

Definately a consideration Duds I went through all the Cyphastrea on coral search, and some arent that far off. Have you seen Cyphastrea with polyps extended on necks rather than just a raised coralite? I couldnt find any.
