Hello and question

Hi all,

This is my first post here and I thought I should tell a bit about myself. I'm actually not a hobbyist but I do conduct behavioral research on fish. I spend most of my time playing with Bettas and then my summers hunting threespine stickleback. I have joined for one big reason: I am in desparate need of some new tanks and I can't seem to find any good local distributors. I figured you all would be in the know about such things. I need to get about 40 or so 10 gallon short tanks (about 6in h x 10.5in w x 20.5in h). Anyone have any suggestions? I was looking at glasscages.com but it would going to be more than I had budgeted to ship them. Thanks!

I would think you could get a special order from almost any AGA dealer for that number.

I think that would be a good idea to look into for sure. That number of tanks has got to count for something.

Walmart sells standard 10g's for $10, unless you're looking for something special, predrilled and such I dont think you're gonna find em much cheaper. Only problem might be finding the quantity you're looking for, but a big chain like Walmart should be able to pull them together for you.

BTW the dimensions you posted dont calculate to 10G, did you mistype?

What's the best size and type of tank to keep a betta in? My daughter's fish is looking sad to me ...
