Reef Builders - The Source for Reef Keeping Information

I've been considering lately a trip to Mystic Aquarium, and now there's even more reason. The CTARS Marine Aquarium Conference. Sounds like a good time, get to meet some new hobbyists as well as probably some familiar ones, and listen to some lectures on what we love. I'm going, if enough people are interested we could maybe rent a van or something and do a road trip.

When is the event? My grandparents live <20 minutes from the aquarium and we go there all the time when we visit.

hmm sounds interesting

i would definitely be interested as long as i can get the time off.... shouldnt be too big an issue with enough notice. i have sundays off anyways. would we drive down in the morning and back at night or spend a couple nights down there? maybe we could drive down saturday and check out the aquarium and get some hotel rooms. then sunday do the conference and drive back that night. that would probably be the best schedule for me. seems like a lot of fun though....

That would be a possibility, but may limit the amount of people willing to go as a group, if we decide to drive down the same day we would have to leave pretty early though. Already bought my tickets so I'm committed.

if i was to go id have to do it all in one day i cant get the entire weekend off

its gonna be a long a** day but im cool with that. ill get my ticket this week sometime. sounds like only a few of us so far... anyone else in????

BTW I'll be going with my wife as well. My license allows me to operate up to a 16 passanger van. If we decide to go that route we'll have to split the cost, but it should be cheaper in the long run especially with the cost of fuel these days. We'll also have to choose a meeting place. Would Salem NH be convienient for most everyone, and for those further North they can meet at my place.
