i bought the other at ag very beautiful clam but today i noticed a hole on the left side of it can u tell me if what it is

Are you referring to the relatively large hole on the center left of the picture? If so, that's where they intake water to filter it. It's supposed to be there

You should see a second one also.

Also if this is your first, watch where you put it. They attach to rocks. If you are not careful they stick where you do not want them.

Man I wish I lived closer to AG...they seem like a really good LFS...even beyond that from what all of you tell me. The best LFS I have near me is called "Sea Creature Aquarium" it's OK but it's small and they don't have that great a selection. If my jeep wasn't a gas hog I would acutally consider driving up to NH and picking something up although it would be a long trip back for whatever I did get.
