curly que anemones

OK guys, and gals, I have 2 curly ques in my tank. They are healthy, happy, and staying put. Have had them for 2 months now and no movement. When googling them, I see all over that they are also called glass anemones. Correct me if I am wrong but aren't glass atapsia ?sp. and really bad to have? Please educate me on the (hopeful!!) differences!

If you look under the forum "Show us your tanks" it is titled Progression. They are in the farthest right pic.

I have heard that story before. One guy was telling me how he and a LFS "associate" picked through all of the LR looking for "bonus" anemones when he was first starting. He said the guy at the LFS had a funny grin on his face the whole time.

Not to worry about that decision. You would have gotten them anyway. They are so small when spawned off by a "parent" that you would never spot them.

It is just one of those things you have to deal with like weekly water changes.

Just looked at the pics. I would have to agree with GRAVEYARDWORD. You are OK...for now.

Aptasia can get pretty big but I have never seen any that big.

Of course, anemones are pretty difficult to keep and probably should only go in very mature systems and then only a single spieces (BTA) is right for most of us.

And some, once they are healthy, do a pretty good job of catching your fish.

But other than that you are good to go
